An Easter Egg Hunt in the Youngdale Tradition

Every year Erik's Dad creates an Easter egg hunt for each of his kids. It's an Easter Egg scavenger hunt of sorts where the clue in one egg leads you to the next. The amazing part is that the clues even rhyme! At the end of the hunt each kid finds a basket of Easter presents from Erik's mom. To keep with the tradition, the Sacramento branch of the YoungD's clan had a hunt this morning too. Here are some of the clues, and the eggs that were found. Enjoy

IKEA Chair- Molly’s favorite scratching post; which annoys me the most
Cat basket- Where Jack finds his favorite ball, the toys are collected and all
Games Chest- Hours of Fun with Tripoley, or Operation (I mean surgery)
Candy bowl- Calories soar, in this bowl behind a door.
CD collection- Rhapsody materializes in this book case after a trip to the music store mesmerizes
BBQ- Whether it is ribs or smores, this time it offers more.
Mailbox- Everyday before 5:00, presents spill forth from this special box (even today)
Trunk- $50 and lots of luck, helped us find this trunk
Desk- Where music is found and frustration abounds
Daffodils- Bulbs that sprout yellow, were received as we ate mallows
PS2- Where Tom Morello, Kratos, Tidus, Vaan, and Mickey get you into plots that are oh so tricky
Laundry Basket- Every week it piles up and makes us use a detergent cup
Car- My Christmas present that loves the pavement.

After the hunt we got ready for church, and then had our friends Mike and Priya over for an Easter Breakfast. Yum.. so far it has been a great day!
