Last night Erik took me out on a date.
First he took me to dinner at Mimi's cafe. Still getting used to the area, it was a little tricky trying to find it, but we eventually made it. Whenever I go there I always think of my friend Colleen. I have been there with her several times, and she always orders an Arnold Palmer (which is half lemonade, half iced tea) So now I also order one when I go. I also had there fabulous french onion soup, and quiche Lorraine. Scrumptious!
After dinner, we took a scenic route to the Drive In Movie Theater. We drove all the way around the city at dusk which was beautiful. While the Drive In Movie Theater experience is one of my favorite childhood memories, Erik had never been. Like most Drive Ins, this one was run down, but pleasant. Erik thought the slant of the ground to provide a good view from the car was really clever. We watched Spiderwick, which was really fun. It also just so happens that Tuesdays are the family discount night so it only cost $4.75 each for a double feature!
The entire evening was very fun, relaxing, and romantic!

nice work on the date, Erik.
Thanks for your note on our Xanga, Mary. I realize now that I never contacted you when your Gpa died. I talked to Sarah a little about it last week, but realized that I had never let you know that we were thinking about you guys.
Do you guys have plans to come down here any time soon? Do you have plans for Spring Break?
Thanks for the five star review. We take our customer satifaction very seriously here at Erik's TakeHisWifeonaDate.
