Sarah stayed for the week. It was so great to be able to catch up with her, and have her opinion for some home decorating. She helped me pick out frames and matting for six paintings we inherited from Erik's grandpa. They should be ready to pick up tomorrow.
Sarah's friend Nate from college hung out with us on Monday and Wednesday night.
Michelle and Aaron (our college friends) were in town for work, and to visit Aaron's family. We caught up with them for dinner in Vacaville.... (I mean Davis ; )
Thursday night our friends Lance and Amy came over for dinner. They both talked about their new jobs and what it is like to be a year 2 resident. Lance and Erik are in the same program, Amy is a Neurology resident. They are a great couple!
Later that night the Redlands Crew came in on their way up to Seattle. They all crashed on our floor, and woke up to a red white and blue pancake breakfast! Yeah 4th of July!
After they took off, Sarah Erik and I went on a bike ride and ran into a classic 4th of July Parade in the Fab 40's (these amazing homes on streets 40-49). It seriously was like something out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine. A true testament to American Patriotism!

Then mom and dad drove in and we celebrated the 4th by BBQing steaks and riding our bikes to see fireworks at the state fair grounds. The fireworks were awesome!
On Saturday the fam. headed to the Sacramento zoo. Which was fun, but HOT. The temps have really picked up this week.
On Sunday they all headed home, along with the Redlands Crew stopping by for round two, on Tuesday night.
I LOVE COMPANY! It has been so great to see and visit with everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
